Federal Way HOV Access/S. 317thDescription
The Federal Way HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) Access ramp is open to buses, carpools and vanpools. The "T" ramp allows direct access to the new Transit Center and helps improve transit speed and schedule reliability by avoiding the congested S. 320th and I-5 interchange.
Sound Transit, King County Metro Transit and Pierce Transit buses provide service to the transit center.
The project also includes a roundabout at South 317th and 28th Avenue South that helps manage traffic at this busy intersection and keeps it moving safely. A public artwork entitled Hi Five is featured in the center of the roundabout.
