South Everett Freeway Station/112th SoutheastDescriptionThe South Everett Freeway Station project consists of a park-and-ride lot within the median of I-5 north of 112th Street Southeast in Everett. The facility provides approximately 400 parking stalls, passenger platforms, shelters and landscaping. The project also provides direct access for transit and high occupancy vehicles (HOV) to the northbound and southbound lanes of I-5, resulting in time savings for commuters. The project allows transit service to bypass the congested State Route 526 interchange formerly used to access the Eastmont Park-and-Ride and improves bus speed and increases schedule reliability. Sound Transit will continue to evaluate alternatives for service to the Eastmont Park-and-Ride. Working in partnership with the City of Everett, improvements were be made to 112th Street Southeast to improve general access to the park-and-ride. These plans included street widening, new sidewalks and bicycle lanes. Rider information for this facility>>> Project Facts
