Construction update: Street temporarily closed

Temporary closure of South 192nd Street in SeaTac

Starting at 7:00 a.m.  on Wednesday, September 25 and lasting until Friday, October 4, all lanes of South 192nd Street  will be closed at the intersection of 28th Avenue South in SeaTac. No east/west traffic will be permitted through the intersection.

Sound Transit's contractor, PCL Civil Constructors, will close the road to drill column foundations for the elevated trackway. Detour signs will be posted to get motorists and pedestrians safely around the construction work zone. 

Recommended detour

  • Northbound traffic on 28th Avenue South will be detoured to South 188th Street to return to International Blvd.
  • Southbound traffic on 28th Avenue South will be detoured to South 200th Street to return to International Blvd.
  • Westbound traffic on South 192nd Street will be detoured to International Blvd. and can use either South 188th Street or South 200th Street to return to 28th Avenue South.
  • Eastbound traffic on South 192nd Street will be detoured to 28th Avenue South and can use either South 188th Street or South 200th Street to return to International Blvd.
