U District Station 90% design open house on Thursday, Jan. 14

The U District Station’s design team is ready to take their work to the public. The latest station finishes, landscaping and art have taken shape. In addition to seeing how the station looks; you will also hear an update on construction progress from Sound Transit staff.

Join us for the U District Station 90% design open house from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14 at the Neptune Theatre located at NE 45th and Brooklyn Ave. NE. Our presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Northgate utility construction contract draws to a close

An early utility relocation contract will wrap up early next year. Crews have begun to restore the pavement and sidewalks in the area.  Thank you for your continued patience.

The project was necessary ahead of guideway construction planned between the Maple Leaf portal and the future Northgate Station which will begin in early 2016.  Stay tuned for more details about Northgate Station construction plans in the coming months.

University Link light rail opens in early 2016 and now’s the time to get ready. An ORCA card will make it easy to pay your Link fare and transfer between buses and trains. Stay tuned in early 2016 for updates about the University Link opening.
