Rider Community

Every day you ride with us, you're part of a community that's 56,000 strong. Whether you ride to save time, cash, the environment, or to get in an extra nap, you're the reason we're here in the central Puget Sound. Connect with Sound Transit with social media, explore beautiful community-centered artworks, and check out what has been going on with regional transit by looking at our photo of the week.

Public art

construction wall art

We add public art into the design of all our facilities. Sometimes it's functional art, like artistic benches or clocks; sometimes it's a decorative flourish to the structure itself or a stand-alone feature. However it's used, art adds to and reflects the personality of the community it serves.

Photo of the Week

Photo of the week

Every week we tell the story of regional mass transit through our Photo of the Week. We're out there capturing on film the progress of our projects, the journey of our riders, and the improvements in our community.
