Mercer Island Park-and-Ride

Description

The two-level Mercer Island Park-and-Ride was built on an existing park-and-ride site. The garage was designed to minimize the visual impact on the surrounding community, including the depression of the first floor below grade.

In addition to increased parking capacity, several improvements were made to the rider loading area on North Mercer Way including new passenger shelters, wider platforms, bicycle storage and other passenger amenities.

An in-depth Construction Q&A was developed to address frequently asked questions about the structural repair work.
