Renton HOV Access

Description

The Renton High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Access project will provide an HOV interchange on I-405 at North Eighth Street. The "T" style ramp will connect I-405 to the center lanes of North Eighth Street in north Renton. The project will be designed and constructed as part of the Washington State Department of Transportation's (WSDOT) I-405 widening project, which is currently seeking funding.

This access improvement project will improve travel speed, enhance schedule reliability and provide travel time savings for buses and high occupancy vehicles traveling between the freeway system and downtown Renton.
