Totem Lake Transit Center/Evergreen Medical CenterDescription
The Totem Lake Transit Center project provides a new transit center on the Evergreen Medical Center campus. The transit center is adjacent to a new medical office building that was constructed at the same time. The project featured a unique public-private partnership with Evergreen Hospital, who served as lead on the project.
The six-bay transit center includes sheltered passenger waiting areas, rider amenities and bus layover space. As part of the project, improvements were made to the intersection of 120th Avenue N.E. and N.E. 128th Street.
The transit center is close to several major employers, including Evergreen Healthcare and Totem Lake Mall, and improves commuter access to transit service.
