East King County Projects

The East King County Subarea stretches from the Snohomish County line in the north to just south of Renton and from Mercer Island, Bellevue and Kirkland in the west to the Sammamish Plateau and Issaquah Highlands in the east.
 
The East King County Subarea is 188 square miles, has a population of about 630,000, and includes all or part of 16 cities.
 
Sound Transit's capital and operations and maintenance budget for the East King County Subarea is $884 million in year of expenditure dollars from 1997-2009.
