Pierce County Projects

The Pierce County Subarea stretches south to DuPont east to Graham west to the waters of Puget Sound and north to the King County line. The Pierce County Subarea is 418 square miles, has a population of about 680,000 and includes all or part of 16 cities.

The capital and operations/maintenance budget for the Pierce County Subarea is $901 million in year of expenditure dollars covering 1997-2009.
