This archive page outlines details of the 2007 Sound Transit 2 plan that voters considered as part of Proposition 1

On November 6, voters in the Central Puget Sound region considered and voted against Proposition 1, the Roads & Transit measure.

Roads & Transit combined two investment plans—Sound Transit 2, which focuses on extending the regional mass transit system, and the RTID Blueprint for Progress, a roads-oriented plan that tackles highway safety, road capacity, HOV lanes, and other important pieces of our highway system.

Thanks for visiting this website where you can learn about the details of the Sound Transit 2 Plan. Our interactive map allows you to learn about the projects and all of the related background and details.

Detailed information on the RTID Blueprint for Progress that was also part of Roads & Transit is available at www.rtid.org

As required by state law (RCW 81.104.140(8)), in early October Sound Transit mailed the public a detailed informational brochure on the specifics of the Roads & Transit ballot measure. Click here to see the mailer >>>
