Everett Station - Phase IIDescription
Phase II of the Everett Station project completes the Sounder commuter rail station in Everett. The project provides 440 additional parking stalls on the east side of the existing tracks and constructs a weather protected pedestrian bridge over the tracks connecting the new parking lot to the commuter rail platform. The unfinished parking area on the west side of the tracks will be completed in this phase.
The project also features several pedestrian improvements including a plaza between the commuter rail platform and street. A bus layover area, landscaping and public art are also part of the project.

Sculptor Verena Schwippert created three granite boulders in the form of hands that will grace the walkway and plaza leading to the train platform.
