  • I-90 HOV Lanes
    February, 2009 -- ST, WSDOT complete first of three phases to add I-90 HOV lanes. The I-90 projects will add safe, all-day, high-occupancy lanes on I-90 between Bellevue and Seattle while preserving the number of general purpose lanes for solo drivers.

  • Airport Station Bridge - Time lapse
    February, 2009 -- Sound Transit contractors lift the new pedestrian bridge connecting the Sea Tac kiss-and-ride with the new Sea Tac/Airport Station.  Light rail to the airport opens in December.

  • Lakewood Station Opening
    December, 2008 --
    The new Lakewood Station parking garage opened in September. The $32.9 million facility hosts Sound Transit, Pierce Transit, and Intercity Transit buses, and will welcome Sounder train service in 2012.

  • Totem Lake Transit Center Opening
    October, 2008 -- A Partnership between Sound Transit, Evergreen Healthcare, the City of Kirkland, and King County Metro Transit means more transit connections are now available at the hospital’s new DeYoung Pavilion building.

  • South Everett Freeway Station
    September, 2008 -- The new 400-stall park-and-ride lot in the I-5 median is the first of its kind in Washington state.

  • Issaquah Transit Center Opening -- August, 2008
