Project Development CoordinatorTransportation Services Division - Close Date: Open until filled
Scope of Position
This position will assist the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager in tracking and coordinating the work associated with parking and transit customer facilities, including the new Station Agent Program. This position may also assist the Deputy Director for Property, Facilities and Equipment. The person in this position will also have lead responsibility for work for one or more assignments in the Division.

• Assists the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager in developing, implementing and monitoring the Division’s annual work program.
• Assists in the review of work by contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Assists the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager to ensure that projects, services, and operations of the Division are completed within the scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures;
• Assists the Project Manager in the formulation of work scopes and cost estimates for new projects and services.
• Assists the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager or others as may be required in the development of information and action items for the TSD Change Control Board and the ST Board.
• Assists the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager in the review of monthly invoices and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• May support the Division in work associated with the Agency’s Environmental Management System initiatives.
• May support the Parking and Customer Facilities Manager in the development of agreements, contracts and annual budgets.
• May manage consultants on small to medium projects.
• May represent the Parking and Customer Facilities Division at various meetings.
• May draft and process materials for Board or Committee action.
Qualifications
The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• Must have strong organizational skills, able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities, be proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated experience in contract and project management.
• Experience in public transit with transit customers is also highly desirable
Education and Experience
Related experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering or a related discipline, and
• 3+ years related experience with demonstrated task management and/or management experience equivalent to scope of assigned projects. Experience must demonstrate the ability to provide support work in complex contract management environment and in parking management.
