Light rail morning service delays Sept. 18 - 19

Early morning track work on MLK before 9:30 a.m.

Sound Transit contractors will adjust light rail track switches on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South this weekend. Link trains will be delayed from 5 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday because of the work.

Trains will need to operate on a single track between Beacon Hill Station and Othello Station to ensure a safe work area. Trains will operate approximately every 20 - 30 minutes instead of the usual 10 - 15 minute weekend schedule while the work is being done.

Northbound and southbound riders boarding at Beacon Hill, Mount Baker Station and Columbia City will board from the southbound platform. Riders should follow signage at the stations.
