Sound Transit launches new campaign highlighting neighborhood festivals near light rail

Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner and Sound Transit wants you to try light rail to explore the neighborhoods, festivals and farmers markets along the line.  

Sound Transit has launched a new online campaign promoting events along the Link route and will have a booth at markets and street fairs throughout the summer showing Puget Sound travelers how easy it is to Link to fun.

Sound Transit estimates more than 400,000 people live within three miles of a Link light rail station. So grab your bike and check out a new neighborhood, event or market this summer with Sound Transit and forget about high gas prices, parking and traffic.
