Mudslides cancel north line Sounder service Friday

Buses tonight for Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett riders; special game day service canceled for Saturday but will run on Sunday

Sounder service to Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett will not operate tonight due to mudslides earlier this morning.

Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett Sounder passengers will need to take regularly scheduled bus service for the commute this afternoon.

South line Sounder service this afternoon is not affected and will operate on normal schedule.

The special event train scheduled to run Saturday will operate for south line fans attending the Sounders FC match against Philadelphia, but is canceled for north line riders.

Game day Sounder service on Sunday will operate from Tacoma and Everett as scheduled for the Mariners 1:10 p.m. game against the Minnesota twins.

Bus alternatives for Friday afternoon

Regularly scheduled bus services for north line Sounder riders will depart from downtown Seattle this afternoon on the following schedule:

• To Edmonds: Community Transit Route 416 will depart Fifth Avenue and James Street at 4:27 p.m., 4:58 p.m., 5:31 p.m. and 5:57 p.m.

• To Mukilteo: Community Transit Route 417 will depart Fourth Avenue South and South Jackson Street at 3:09 p.m., 3:59 p.m., 4:22 p.m., 4:50 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

• To Everett: Sound Transit Route 510 will depart from Fourth Avenue South and South Jackson Street every ten minutes.
