Sound Transit and City of Edmonds to dedicate Tsutakawa sculpture

Publish Date
Body

Sound Transit and the City of Edmonds will officially dedicate a very special piece of public art on Friday March 26 - a sculpture entitled "Standing Wave" by noted artist Gerard Tsutakawa.

"Standing Wave' is the result of a unique partnership involving Sound Transit's STart Program, the City of Edmonds' Arts Commission and private donations. It was through this partnership that "Standing Wave" evolved from merely another piece of public art to a grand-scale sculpture. The sculpture will be shown at the SR 104 Mini Park until Sound Transit's Sounder Commuter Rail Station is completed.

Mr. Tsutakawa will be available for interviews following the dedication.
