Sound Transit and Emerald Downs say, "Ride to the Races" with us!

Sound Transit and Emerald Downs have formed a partnership to make it easy for racing fans get to the track without worrying about traffic or parking. It's called "Ride to the Races" and beginning this week, fans can take any Sound Transit ST Express or King County Metro Transit buses serving the Auburn Sounder Station and Emerald Downs will provide free shuttle service to the races.

"We're very excited to help fans find an easier way to get to Emerald Downs," said Sound Transit Director of Transportation Services Marty Minkoff. "Now, every Wednesday through Sunday, folks can hop the bus and grab a shuttle to enjoy watching the thoroughbreds run. And, on select weekends, racing fans can ride the train to the track by hopping on board the Sounder Home Run Special serving Mariners Saturday and Sunday afternoon home games."

"We are thrilled to partner with Sound Transit on the Ride to the Races Program," said Adrian Buchan, Sponsorship Manager at Emerald Downs. "This expanded service allows us to serve Emerald Downs fans with a convenient way to get to the track on weekdays."
