Saturday, August 17
10 a.m.-7 p.m. A-Track-Tion - A Downtown Tacoma Festival
Courtyard Steps, University of Washington Tacoma
19th Street South and Pacific Avenue South, Tacoma
Sound Transit will host an information booth at the A-Track-Tion festival, an event organized by the Tacoma Downtown Merchants Group marking the half-way point in completing Tacoma Link light rail. The event will include music, food and activities at the Courtyard Steps and other areas of downtown Tacoma.

10 a.m. Sounder Seahawks Special launch event and locomotive unveiling
King Street Station
Fourth Avenue South and South Jackson Street, Seattle
Sound Transit and Seattle Seahawks representatives will participate in an event marking the launch of the Sounder Seahawks Special - new Sounder commuter rail service for Seahawks Sunday afternoon home games. The event will include the unveiling of what is believed to be the first ever "wrapped" train locomotive - a Sounder engine decorated with the new Seahawks team logo.

9 a.m.-12 p.m. Trans-Lake Washington Project-Technical Committee meeting
St. Luke's Lutheran Church
3030 Bellevue Way N.E., Bellevue
The Trans-Lake Washington project, a joint effort of Sound Transit, WSDOT, FHWA and FTA, is evaluating information for increasing mobility across Lake Washington. The Technical Committee, made up of experts from local jurisdictions and resource agencies, evaluates the project's environmental analysis to ensure its accuracy.

Sound Transit and Pierce Transit representatives will staff an information booth at this Tacoma Human Rights and Human Services Department event.

10 a.m.-3 p.m. SODO Big Event
Seahawks Stadium
800 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle
Sound Transit will host an information booth at this event sponsored by the SODO Business Association. For more information, visit http://sodobusinessassociation.org.

Friday, August 23
8-9:00 a.m. Tacoma Link construction update
Harmon Brewery & Restaurant
1938 Pacific Ave., Tacoma
Sound Transit will hold its regular community meeting to discuss current construction issues, including traffic changes, safety concerns and upcoming construction plans.

11a.m.-1 p.m. Bellevue Access Downtown Project
Bellevue Square Mall
Sound Transit will participate in hosting an information booth at Bellevue Square's Fountain Court during a lunchtime concert. The Bellevue Access Downtown Project is an alliance between Sound Transit, the City of Bellevue, the Washington State Department of Transportation, King County Metro and the Federal Highway Administration that is devoted to improving transportation in the area of downtown Bellevue.
