Sound Transit staff will provide an update on the Central Link light rail project for the Genesee Merchants Association.

10-11:00 a.m. Yield to Bus campaign kick-off event

SE of downtown (between Pacific Ave. and 35th St.), Everett

Sound Transit staff will speak at the kick-off event for a regional campaign to increase awareness of the state law requiring drivers to yield to buses. Campaign sponsors include Community Transit, Sound Transit, Everett Transit, Pierce Transit and King County Metro.

1:15-3 p.m. Mukilteo Station Technical Advisory Committee meeting

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Sounder commuter rail station in Mukilteo will meet. The city council-appointed TAC is comprised of city officials and local community members. The TAC meetings will eventually lead to a public meeting(s) to solicit commuter input on the station.

Sound Transit staff will present the Central Link light rail art plan to the regular meeting of the Panel, which was established to review the design aspects of the Central Link project and the City's Station Area Planning work. The Panel is comprised of members of the City's Design, Arts, and Planning Commissions and provides streamlined design review and a forum for resolving design issues prior to permitting.
