Sounder game day trains will serve Saturday soccer match between Mexico and Ecuador

Special Sounder commuter rail trains will serve exhibition match at Qwest Field

Sound Transit will operate a special Sounder commuter rail game day train for the soccer match between Mexico and Ecuador this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Inbound trains from the south will depart Tacoma at 11:00 a.m., Puyallup at 11:12 a.m., Sumner at 11:17 a.m., Auburn at 11:25 a.m., Kent at 11:32 a.m., and Tukwila at 11:39 a.m., arriving at King Street Station at 12:00 p.m.

Inbound trains from Snohomish County will depart Everett at 11:15 a.m., Mukilteo at 11:26 a.m., and Edmonds at 11:41 a.m., arriving at King Street Station at 12:14 p.m.

Return trains will depart King Street Station 35 minutes after the match ends.

Sound Transit operates special Sounder commuter rail trains to Mariners games and Sounders FC soccer matches. A schedule of game day Sounder train service is available at Schedules/Event-services.xml.

The special Sounder game day train service is in addition to regular Link light rail service to and from the stadium. Link light rail serves 13 stations in downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila and SeaTac. Link's Stadium Station is a half block from Safeco Field and Qwest Field.

Regular fares will apply for all Sound Transit services. ORCA and all standing transit passes will be accepted. Getting an ORCA card is a great way to skip lines at ticket vending machines. Cards only cost $5 for adults, plus whatever amount a rider chooses to load in the card's E-Purse or the cost of a pass that is good for unlimited transit trips.
