Site demolition starting on Operations and Maintenance Facility: East (OMFE) site in Bellevue

On Thursday, Dec. 14, Sound Transit's contractor Hensel Phelps will begin demolition of the first of about a half-dozen existing structures (see red circle on the map) on the future site of the Operations and Maintenance Facility East project in the BelRed area of Bellevue. Crews have been onsite for the past few weeks preparing this building for demolition including hazardous materials removal and recycling efforts.
The site will be fully contained (see blue line on the map) and barricaded for public access. No traffic control on 120th Avenue Northeast will be necessary and crews will be utilizing water trucks and hoses to maintain dust.
