As early as Wednesday, Jan. 18, contractors will be performing early morning and night work, from inside of the Sound Transit guideway at the NE 148th Street Station Garage, as a part of the Light Rail Lynnwood Link Extension project. The work will consist of a concrete saw cutting and the use of light plants. Given weather conditions, work will happen as weather permits.
What to know:
- Trucks will be entering and exiting from 5th Avenue NE to the NE 148th St. Station and Garage entrance/work zone.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Work will consist of seven working nights out of the dates noted below to complete work, with multiple contingency nights scheduled in case the work becomes delayed.
- The work will go on as weather permits. If construction is delayed or takes longer than expected, more days will be added, and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Week #1 - Wednesday, Jan. 18, through Friday, Jan. 20, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
- Week #2 - Monday, Jan. 23, through Friday, Jan. 27, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
- Week #3 - Monday, Jan. 30, through Friday, Feb. 3, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
