Construction alert

Lane shifts at 1st Ave NE, just north of NE 112th St

From Thursday, August 18th through Friday. August 19th, Sound Transit’s contractors will be working on 1st Ave NE utility work as part of the future link light rail. The lane shift will occur between the work hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What:

  • Drivers can expect traffic delays. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
  • Sidewalks will be open
  • Residents can expect vibration from compaction and fill work after utility installation is completed.

When:

  • Thursday, August 18th through Friday, August 19th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Where:

  • 1st Ave NE, just North of NE 112th St
  • Local access will be maintained
