Construction map for SR 99 HOV lane closure, Federal Way Link Extension

Long-term closure of SR 99 southbound HOV lane

What

Sound Transit’s contractors will close the southbound HOV lane on SR 99 between
S 204th St and S 208th St to accommodate Link light rail construction. This is a single lane closure. Vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

When

April 4 – June 30, around the clock

Where

SR 99 (International Blvd) between S 204th St and S 208th St (see map)

  • This is a single lane closure and SR 99 will be open for travel through the area
  • The SB HOV lane will be closed 24/7 throughout the closure period
  • Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment will be used
