As early as Tuesday, May 30, Sound Transit will close the Northgate Way northbound I-5 on-ramp, the northbound I-5 right lane, and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to the NE 130th St. Crews will be landscaping as part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- On and off-ramps will be closed and detour routes are in place for drivers (see maps).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic effects.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a blower/hydroseed truck and street sweeper.
- Most work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- If the work is delayed, additional ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Tuesday, May 30, from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Where:
- Northbound I-5 on-ramp from Northgate Way.
- Northbound I-5 right lane from Northgate Way to NE 130th St.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St.
