As early as Thursday, May 31, Sound Transit will close northbound I-5 on-ramp and off-ramp at NE 107th St. Contractors will be landscaping as a part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- On- and off-ramps will be closed — detour routes are in place for drivers (see maps).
- Crews will work at night to minimize effects on traffic.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a blower/hydroseed truck and street sweeper.
- This work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- If the work is delayed, additional ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Wednesday, May 31, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Where:
- Northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE 107th St.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 107th St.
