Starting as early as Monday, March 13, Sound Transit will close the NE Northgate Way northbound I-5 on-ramp. A right lane closure will also be in place on northbound I-5, from NE Northgate Way to NE 130th Street. This work is for barrier removal and guardrail installation.
What to know:
- On-ramp will be closed. Detour routes are in place for drivers. (See maps)
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic effects.
- Crews will be using heavy equipment and cranes. Neighbors should expect construction noises.
When:
- Monday, March 13, through Thursday, March 16, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.
Where:
- Northgate Way at northbound I-5 on-ramp.
- Northbound I-5 right lane from NE Northgate Way to NE 130th St.
