As early as September 7th, Sound Transit will be closing 1st Avenue Northeast and Northgate Way intersection, as well as the Interstate-5 northbound on-ramp at Northgate Way. The nighttime closure will be utilized for guideway construction for the Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project.
What
- Work consists of heavy equipment and residents can expect noise from construction.
When
- Tuesday night, Sept. 7th to Thursday night, Sept. 9th.
- Night construction work hours are from 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.
Where
- 1st Ave and Northgate Way intersection.
- Access will be maintained for local residents.
