Reminder: Share your feedback about sidewalks and bike facilities

Thank you to everyone who has visited the online open house. If you haven’t given us your input yet, please visit us online by Dec. 5.

Sound Transit is planning a better-connected network so more people can walk, roll, bike and ride transit to South Tacoma Station and neighborhood destinations like SERA Campus. This includes filling in missing sidewalks and curb ramps, adding bike lanes or paths, updating bus stops and more.

We want to hear from you! Learn more and give us your input:

  • Visit the online open house through Dec. 5.
  • Visit our table at the Tacoma Santa Parade on Sunday, Dec. 4, on South Tacoma Way between S 50th and S 56th streets. The Christmas Around the World Holiday Market runs from 12-4:30 p.m., and the parade starts at 4:30 p.m. Catch Pierce Transit Route 3 to get to the event.

Reminder: Try the train later in the morning

On Sept. 19, Sound Transit restored two S Line (Sounder South) weekday trips:

  • Northbound: 10:11 a.m. departure from South Tacoma — reaches Seattle at 11:22 a.m.
  • Southbound: 7:55 a.m. departure from Seattle — reaches South Tacoma at 9:01 a.m.

Whether you are traveling for work, appointments or fun, Sounder provides a great alternative to sitting in traffic.
