Pedestrian detours

Storm Water Vault Delivery

The Mercer Island Transit Interchange is a project designed to expand access to the new Light Rail Line 2, set to open in 2023. Part of the construction includes the instillation of a new storm water vault. The vault will be delivered between May 4th, 2022 and May 6th, 2022. A crane will be required to install the vault. Road traffic will not be impacted.

Pedestrians will need to follow all posted detours. Pedestrians should not walk in the road.
