Sound Transit staff speak with members of the public at a recent event, with a comment box showing prominently in the front. Your comments and feedback now will help shape the future of light rail in Snohomish County.
There’s still time to share your thoughts on the Everett Link light rail expansion in Snohomish County! You can learn about the project and alternatives for routes, stations and locations for the Operations and Maintenance Facility North on our interactive website. The comment period is open through March 10, and comments can be submitted by:
Your input will help us determine which alternatives should continue to be studied in the environmental impact statement and what topics we should study. We’re at a critical point in the decision-making process around routes, station locations and the placement of the OMF North, so your feedback matters now!
Comments will be accepted through March 10.
There is one more public meeting during this comment period, held via Zoom this Wednesday, March 1, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Meeting link online.
This is your chance to learn more and ask questions about the Everett Link light rail extension into Snohomish County, and the upcoming environmental review process. We will share information about options for the route, stations and Operations and Maintenance Facility North locations we studied in 2022. Note: The presentation will be the same as the virtual public meeting we held Feb. 7.
After the comment period closes, all comments submitted by March 10 will be shared with our stakeholder and partner groups, as well as the Sound Transit Board, who will identify which route, station and operations and maintenance facility alternatives will be studied in the Draft EIS. These alternatives will undergo detailed analysis with future opportunities for public comment.
