 Site of Tree Removal
The Mercer Island Transit Interchange is a project designed to expand access to the new Light Rail Line 2, set to open in 2023. Part of this project include clearing a row of trees to facilitate a lane shift. You can see the exact location of tree removal on the map. A bird survey will be conducted as part of the tree removal.
Road traffic will not be impacted. Pedestrians will need to follow all posted detours. Pedestrians should not walk in the road.
