Sound Transit is planning a better-connected network, so more people can walk, roll, bike and take transit to South Tacoma Station and neighborhood destinations like SERA Campus. This could include filling in missing sidewalks and curb ramps, adding bike lanes or paths, updating bus stops and more.

Bike tour: 10am-12pm. Meet at South Tacoma Station parking lot (on S. 60th Street between Washington and Adams). We’ll ride up to 5 miles at a slow pace with minimal hills. Snacks provided!

Walk tour and kid’s scavenger hunt: 1-3pm. Meet outside the South Tacoma Library (3411 S. 56th Street). Family friendly event with stops including Edison Elementary. Up to two mile walk.
On September 19th Sound Transit restored two S Line (Sounder South) weekday trips:

Southbound: 7:55am departure from Seattle - reaches South Tacoma at 9:01am.

Northbound: 10:11am departure from South Tacoma - reaches Seattle at 11:22am.
Whether you are traveling for work, appointments or fun, Sounder provides a great alternative to sitting in traffic.
