Fare Enforcement Officers

Fare Enforcement Officers

You will see Sound Transit fare enforcement officers walking through our trains and facilities. If you have questions about service, schedules or fares or if you have safety concerns, our fare enforcement officers are available to help. Fare enforcement officers are also on board to check tickets and ORCA cards, so before you enter a Sounder train or a Link platform, please be sure to tap your ORCA card or have a valid ticket. You may get a fine if you do not pay for your ride.
