There is still time to take our further studies survey! You have through Feb. 17 to provide additional feedback on the Chinatown-International District (CID), Downtown, and Interbay/Ballard further study results, and learn more about the West Seattle, Duwamish, and SODO further studies.
We also invite you to join us at an open house at Union Station on Feb. 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. Drop by anytime to learn about the results, ask questions, and have conversations with staff.
What is next in the process?
- Thursday, February 9 | The System Expansion Committee will take a deeper dive into the further study results.
- Thursday, February 23 | We will share a summary of community feedback on the further studies at the Sound Transit Board meeting.
- Thursday, March 9 | The System Expansion Committee will again discuss the project and may provide a recommendation to the Sound Transit Board to identify the preferred alternative for the Ballard Link Extension.
- Thursday, March 23 | The full 18-member Sound Transit Board may identify the preferred alternative for the Ballard Link Extension. As a reminder, the action on a preferred alternative(s) indicates a preference among alternatives but is not a final decision or obligation.
Members of the public may attend the Sound Transit Board meetings and System Expansion Committee meetings in person or in a variety of ways including dialing in via touch-tone phone, through their browser, or via the WebEx mobile app. For more information on how to attend or provide public comment, visit the Board of Directors website. All meetings are recorded and will be uploaded to the WebEx Livestream archive.
Interpretation in Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese will be available for virtual and in-person attendees at the Sound Transit Board meetings and System Expansion Committee meetings.
