As early as Monday, June 5, Sound Transit will close the Northgate Way northbound I-5 on-ramp, including the northbound I-5 right lane and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St. Crews will be landscaping for the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What
- Northbound I-5 on and off-ramps will be closed — detour routes are in place for drivers (see maps).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic delays.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a blower/hydroseed truck and street sweeper.
- Most work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors not much louder than freeway noise.
- If the work gets delayed, additional ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When
- Monday, June 5 from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Wednesday, June 7, through Thursday, June 8, from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.

- Northbound I-5 on-ramp from Northgate Way.
- Northbound I-5 right lane from Northgate Way to NE 130th St.
