Nightly drill shaft operations work along I-5 at NE 189th St and NE 200th St
Starting Monday, Feb. 5, Sound Transit will close the right lane of northbound I-5 and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to SR-104 for drill shaft operations at NE 189th St and NE 200th St. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What

The northbound I-5 right lane and northbound I-5 off-ramp to SR-104 will be closed.

Crews will work at night to minimize effects on traffic.

Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment such as a drill rig, light plants, air compressors, a forklift, an excavator, a truck, trailers, and various hand tools.

It will take four working nights to complete this work. If the work is delayed, new nighttime ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
