Starting Sunday night, September 19th, Sound Transit will be closing both directions of NE 175th Street from 5th Ave NE to the I-5 overpass. Additionally, both NE 175th Street to Northbound I-5 on & off-ramps will also be closed. The closure will be utilized for guideway construction as part of the Light Rail Lynnwood Link Extension project.
What
- Road & ramps will be closed. Detour routes (see maps below) are in place for drivers.
- Local access will be maintained for residents.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
When
- Sunday through Thursday, Sept. 19th to Sept. 23rd 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 25th 11:00p.m. to 7:00a.m.
- Additional work Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 26th to Sept 28th 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
- NE 185th Station site will potentially be used for staging equipment if work activity is not completed.

- NE 175th Street at NB I-5 ramps Intersection.
- NE 175th Street to NB I-5 on & off-ramps.
- 5th Ave from NE 145th to NE 175th Street. (Saturday, Sept. 25th trucking route)
- NE 185th Station site will potentially be used for staging equipment.
