What
Sound Transit’s contractors will conduct several full and directional overnight closures of 272nd St and I-5 on and off ramps near 272nd St. These closures will accommodate girder erections and safety lines installation for Link light rail service.
When
Nightly closures beginning at 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. the following morning:
- April 18 – Full closure of S 272nd St (eastbound and westbound) and I-5 on- and off-ramps
- April 19 – Closure of westbound S 272nd St and I-5 on- and off-ramp closure
- April 20 – Closure of eastbound S 272nd St
- April 21 – Closure of eastbound S 272nd St

- Crews will try to reduce noise when possible
- Lanes will be closed nightly and open during the day
- Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment will be used
- Work is weather dependent and subject to change
