Reminder: survey closes January 5th!

Sound Transit is planning a better-connected network, so more people can walk, roll, bike and take transit to Lakewood Station and community destinations. This could include filling in missing sidewalks and curb ramps, adding bike lanes, updating bus stops and more.

What do you think about our plans for new sidewalks and bike facilities? Visit our online open house to give us your input by Thursday, January 5.

Reminder: Try the train later in the morning

Last fall, Sound Transit restored two S Line (Sounder South) weekday trips:

  • Southbound: 7:55am departure from Seattle - reaches Lakewood at 9:11am.
  • Northbound: 10:06am departure from Lakewood - reaches Seattle at 11:22am.

Whether you are traveling for work, appointments or fun, Sounder provides a great alternative to sitting in traffic.

Concerned about finding a parking space at Lakewood Station garage? With the increase in work from home options, this garage has not been filling to capacity.

Sounder not running when you need to head to Seattle? Try ST Express 594 – catch it at Lakewood Station and arrive in downtown Seattle in about 80 minutes.
