Sound Transit will have an information booth at STAR Center’s Summer Bash – this Friday, August 5, 3873 S 66th St, Tacoma. The event begins at 5 pm with food trucks, music, crafts, inflatables, games, a bike rodeo, and a helmet giveaway and a bike giveaway! Then the free outdoor movie (Luca) begins at dusk.
At the Sound Transit table, we’ll have giveaways for the kids as well as information on how we’re planning to make walking, rolling, and bicycling safer in South Tacoma.

Want to take your kids to the Seattle Aquarium or an out-of-town guest to Pike Place Market? Driving to Seattle can be a mess on weekends, not to mention the cost of parking. But there is another way. Sound Transit runs trains to many weekend day games when the Mariners, Sounders FC or Seahawks are in town. You don’t have to attend the game to ride the train – take the opportunity to explore Seattle for a few hours! Upcoming game trains:

-
Aug. 28: Mariners vs. Cleveland Guardians
-
Sept. 10: Sounders FC vs Sporting Kansas City
