Bus Base North SEPA DNS

Sound Transit has prepared a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) environmental checklist for the Bus Base North project in Bothell. The bus base includes a new bus maintenance and operations building, and a parking structure for buses and other vehicles. The bus base would primarily be used by buses operating on the proposed I-405 and SR 522/NE 145th Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines. Some buses from the ST Express bus fleet would also use this facility. Based on the checklist, technical reports and other information, Sound Transit has determined that the Bus Base North project does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. A Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) was issued on August 10, 2020.

Note: The preliminary ground-level site plan (Figure A-3 in the Checklist, and Figure 2-1 in the technical reports) has been updated.
