This Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Sound Transit does not knowingly collect Information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use this Website or provide any Information about yourself to Sound Transit, including your name, address, telephone number or email address. 

Sound Transit reserves the right to make changes to the Website and to the Terms of Use at any time. All changes are effective immediately when posted. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes.

2. Intellectual property

We own this web content and this ownership limits how you can use our information.

The Website and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, video, logos, button icons, databases and images) ("Website Content") are the property of Sound Transit or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

The Sound Transit and Sounder names and related logos are registered trademarks of Sound Transit. Sound Transit's trademarks may not be used without advance written permission of Sound Transit, including in connection with any product or service that is not Sound Transit's, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages, discredits, or misrepresents Sound Transit. Other products or company names mentioned on the Website may be trademarks of their respective owners.

8. Indemnification

By visiting this website you and Sound Transit both agree to resolve disputes as described below.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sound Transit, its affiliates, licensors and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Use or your use of the Website, including, but not limited to, your content, any use of the Website Content, and services and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms of Use.

9. Limitation on time to file claims

You must file any legal claim within six months.

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN SIX (6) MONTHS AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED. 

10. Waiver and severability

Changing any part of these terms does not invalidate the remaining terms. Each section applies separately.

No waiver by Sound Transit of a term or condition set forth in these Terms of Use shall be deemed a continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition.  Any failure of Sound Transit to assert a right or provision under these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms of Use will continue in full force and effect. 

11. Entire agreement

This is the only document that governs website terms of use.

The Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Sound Transit with respect to the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Website. 

12. Applicable law

Washington State laws apply.

The Sound Transit website is created and controlled by Sound Transit in the State of Washington. As such, the laws of the State of Washington will govern these Terms of Use, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. Venue for any disputes will be in the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.

If you supply contact information, we may contact you.

If you provide contact Information to Sound Transit, Sound Transit may use it to contact you.  If you no longer wish to receive communications from Sound Transit, please contact us at main@soundtransit.org.
