Public Hearing on the Disposition of Surplus Properties
The purpose of this hearing is to advise the public and receive public comment on Sound Transit’s intent to surplus 21 properties comprised of 27 tax parcels located along the Federal Way Link Extension, in the City of Des Moines, and transfer them to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) as part of a larger land exchange agreement.
The properties are currently unimproved land owned by Sound Transit. The Washington State Department of Transportation intends to use the property for expansion of SR509 and SR5.
This hearing is being held pursuant to RCW 39.33.020. The subject of this hearing is portions of the following tax parcels:
