Public Hearing for Transfer of Real Property to the City of Seattle

The purpose of this hearing is to allow public comment on the proposal to transfer 16 tax parcels comprising 10 development sites in the Rainier Valley at no cost to the City of Seattle for the development of affordable housing, with a focus on affordable homeownership opportunities. This transfer will be subject to approval by the Sound Transit Board of Directors and the Federal Transit Administration. This hearing is being held pursuant to RCW 39.33.020.

The subject of this hearing are the properties associated with the following King County Tax Parcels numbers: 175670-0015, 175670-0010, 175670-0005, 5414100-0205, 5414100-2200, 5414100-2300, 400600-0319, 400600-0322, 333300-2640, 142630-0125, 428140-0385, 175670-0110, 175670-0120, 170340-0990, 266050-0259, and 166250-0061, located at the following addresses: 4851 MLK Jr Way S., 4853 MLK Jr Way S., 4859 MLK Jr Way S., 4733 MLK Jr Way S., 4735 MLK Jr Way S., 4741 MLK Jr Way S., 4203 S. Kenyon St, 7908 MLK Jr Way S., 6740 MLK Jr Way S, 3601 MLK Jr Way S., 7860 MLK Jr Way S., 4865 MLK Jr Way S., 3112 S. Ferdinand St., 3201 S. Ferdinand St., 5042 MLK Jr Way S., and 6701 MLK Jr Way S. in Seattle, WA. The City of Seattle will facilitate the development of the properties as affordable housing, primarily affordable homeownership.
