Link light rail to single track between Westlake and Stadium Stations late night on Feb. 22

Single tracking will occur between 10 p.m. and end of revenue service

Publish Date

Link light rail trains will be single tracking at the Westlake, University Street, Pioneer Square, International District and Stadium stations from 10 p.m. until end of service tomorrow evening, Feb. 22, for rail maintenance work. During this time, trains will run every 20 minutes system-wide. Passengers traveling late evening tomorrow should allow extra time for their trip.

The track maintenance is being done on the southbound track; therefore, passengers will need to catch trains in either direction on the platform for trains heading northbound. Signage at the stations will alert passengers as to which platform is affected. Passengers should be aware of the direction of the trains arriving at the stations, as that will be the direction in which the trains will continue.

A language line is available to provide translation assistance for limited English proficiency persons at 800-823-9230.

Sound Transit remains committed to working closely with its partners to continue serving the public. Efforts will continue to prioritize serving riders who depend on Sound Transit’s services, including seniors, people with disabilities, Title VI protected populations (race, color, national origin), low-income and limited-English-proficiency populations.
