Nighttime schedule changes coming for Link light rail

Trains to run every 20 minutes weeknights from 9 p.m. to closing from April - July

Link light rail trains will run every 20 minutes after 9 p.m. on weeknights beginning April 1 while workers install a new sound wall on the tracks near the Duwamish River in Tukwila.

The work is scheduled to be complete by the end of July. Trains will have to operate on a single track through the work area. Increasing the time between trains will allow for consistent movement throughout the system during work hours. 

Link currently runs every ten minutes after 6:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes after 10 p.m. on weeknights.
