Northline Sounder service cancelled due to mudslides

Buses tonight to Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett; regular train service to Edmonds and Mukilteo tomorrow

Sounder riders to Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett will need to take special or regular bus service from Seattle tonight after mudslides this morning closed northline tracks.

Regular Sounder service to Edmonds and Mukilteo will operate tomorrow, and train service to Everett will resume Friday if no other slides occur.
Bus alternatives

Special bus services to northline Sounder Stations will depart downtown Seattle from Fourth Avenue South and South Jackson Street on the following schedules this afternoon:

  • To Edmonds: At 4:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Riders can also use existing Community Transit service available on Route 416.
  • To Mukilteo: At 4:05 p.m., 4:50 p.m. Riders can also use existing Community Transit service available on Route 417 at the same location.
  • To Everett: At 4:33 p.m., 5:05 p.m., and 5:35 p.m. Riders can also take Sound Transit's regularly scheduled express Route 510 at the same location.

Southline Sounder service is not affected and will operate on normal schedule.
